Pat Jenkins concentrates his practice primarily in business, corporate and tax law, and in estate planning and estate administration. Pat received his undergraduate degree in 1977 from Dickinson College, earning magna cum laude honors as an English major. He graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1980. He began his legal career in 1980 and has been practicing law in Charlotte, North Carolina since 1984.

Pat has broad experience in his areas of concentration. Through the years he has counseled a variety of closely held businesses, including manufacturing, sales, development, real estate, professional, service and non-profit companies. He provides a comprehensive range of services for business clients, from formation of the business entity to day-to-day advice to complex transactions and tax planning. Pat also has extensive experience in the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives; estate, income and gift tax planning for individuals, business owners and executives; and the administration and taxation of estates and trusts. Pat is a committed volunteer of pro bono legal services for individuals and non-profit organizations, and he is involved in other community and church activities. Pat and his wife Jan live in Davidson, North Carolina, and they have three children.
